Annual General Meeting and 2023 Economic Outlook

On January 24, 2023, The Bond Club of Philadelphia will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at The Raquet Club of Philadelphia from 5:30-7:30pm.  In this meeting, we will review our accomplishments in 2022, hold elections for our Officers and Governors, and discuss plans for the rest of this year.

After club business has been taken care of, we are fortunate to have Robert Minter, CFA, CMT, CAIA, Director of Investment Strategy on the ETF Team at abrdn will provide an investment outlook for 2023.

Before assuming his current role, Robert was previously Portfolio Manager of three US multi asset mutual funds. Robert joined the company in 2007. Previously, he was employed by Emerald Capital Group, Ltd for eleven years as an analyst and had portfolio management responsiblites. The company specialized in insurance company asset management and workout securities. Prior to Emerald, Robert worked at Fidelity Investments and The Vanguard Group. Robert graduated with a BA in Economics from Rutgers University. Robert is a CFA charterholder. He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation from CAIA Association and the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation from the Market Technicians Association. He is currently member of the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA), CFA society of Philadelphia, CMT Assocation and CAIA Association.

All members are encouraged to attend. There will be an open bar and heavy hors d’oeuvres at this event, which is free for BCOP members in good standing. There is a guest fee of $45.
