The Bond Club of Philadelphia is pleased to present this “members only” event, Navigating Uncharted Waters, featuring James McCann, Senior Global Economist with Aberdeen Standard Investments, *this Thursday March 18th at 4:00 pm.* James’ discussion perfectly aligns with the conclusion of this week’s two-day FOMC meeting, and he will help parse both the Fed’s communique and the market’s reaction. In addition, this year could bring the strongest US GDP since the early 1980’s, when many (but not all) BCOP members had not yet begun their investment careers – Uncharted Waters indeed! James will discuss the economic landscape for the US as well as globally, to help our BCOP members navigate their clients’ portfolio allocations.

James McCann is a Senior Global Economist at Aberdeen Standard Investments. He is responsible for North American economics and the Aberdeen Standard Investments Research Institute’s work in the field of money, banking and credit. James joined in 2014 from the Royal Bank of Scotland where he worked as an Economist, having previously worked for a London-based financial consultancy. James graduated with a BSc in Economics and Politics from The London School of Economics and an Msc in Economics from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
